Deadvlei is an absolutely iconic landscape photography destination situated deep in the ancient sand dunes of the Namib Desert of Namibia. The eerie skeletal trees studded across the cracked clay pan surrounded by mammoth sand dunes in all directions is a sight to behold. This lone tree cast its shadow across the pan floor as the blazing African sun rose up into the sky.
