Cronk-Ny-Arrey-Laa – Isle of Man
Cotton Grass blows in the early morning breeze on a crystal-clear summer morning on the slopes of Cronk-Ny-Arrey-Laa. This was taken at around 4:30am during the peak of the summer heat wave when the Isle of Man was in the grip of weather conditions more fitting of the Mediterranean. The cotton grass this summer was incredibly dense and thick turning the mountains of the south west of the island into a very surreal landscape. The sun rising right over Snaefell and the heart of the island was the perfect focal point for the image.
