Glen Dhoo – Isle of Man

This shot was taken the morning after the big snow of 2013. After a long and tiring hike through the very deep snow I reached Glen Dhoo and was greeted with an almost Arctic like scene. Trees had snapped like matches under the sheer weight of snow. The wind howled and blasted the bitter cold snow across the valley. Without doubt one of most testing Isle of Man photographic treks I’ve been on. Totally worth it however as this shot is my own personal favourite Manx winter scene to date.
